We are seeking an experienced PCBA Test Design Development Engineer to join our team in Dubai

What You’ll Do

In this role, the Test Design Development Engineer will design, develop, and implement structural test solutions for our printed circuit board products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D groups across the company to develop structural test strategies for printed circuit boards, including functional, flying probe, and in‑circuit test platforms.
• Develop test fixtures—hardware and software—providing program development quotations, schedules, documentation, validation, and release to production. Design electronic circuits, wiring, and test software to achieve full test automation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality products.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, including hands‑on debugging of test systems.
• Estimate time‑scales for project plans.
• Plan and execute overall PCB, higher‑level assembly, and system‑level test development with diverse functional teams.
• Support the company’s production engineering goals for new product introduction, process improvement, and lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related experience or at least 2 years of experience in Test Design Engineering or a similar role.

Skills

• Proven experience in a test development environment, including knowledge of bed‑of‑nails functional testing.
• Programming experience with NI Test Stand or LabVIEW.
• Strong understanding of electronic components.
• Design and application experience with production test equipment.
• Experience with PCB design and assembly for test fixtures.
• Drive, problem‑solving abilities, and willingness to adapt.
• Knowledge of cellular manufacturing, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S is an advantage.
