Senior Technical Manager
China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Senior Technical Manager to join our team in a large scale project in Dubai.
Position Summary:
- Monitor the development, coordination, and approval of shop drawings, materials, method statements, and all necessary requirements for execution of works on site, considering the project's specifications and cost effect.
- Ensure full coordination with all trades to develop proper shop drawings, considering the construction real sequence and all other trades interface.
Responsibilities:
- Study the project's specifications, along with design drawings.
- Monitor the generation and development of shop drawings for structural, architectural, and MEP, ensuring submission on the planned time.
- Ensure compliance of shop drawings and materials with project specifications, construction sequence on site, and the planned time program.
- Review specialist sub‑contractor designs (post‑tensioned structural elements, steel structure, waterproofing, curtain wall, landscaping, architectural finishes, etc.) and coordinate guide sub‑designers to meet project requirements.
- Update management on status of ongoing activities; liaise with client and address concerns technically, contractually, and commercially.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 15+ Years of relevant work experience.
