UPS Field Service Engineer – Talentprise

To provide first‑class service for the OEM‑installed base products and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. The primary function is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs, and periodic maintenance for the OEM installed base, ranging from small 1‑phase UPSs to large data centre UPSs, up to 1700 kVA.

• Perform UPS commissioning, service, repair, and preventive maintenance on the Company’s Installed Base/products.
• Schedule and plan work for the FSEs, ensuring effective service request realization and service sales budget attainment.
• Follow up on customer agreements, document, execute, and invoice service tasks, updating customer information and technical documentation.
• Support customers with technical questions via phone and/or e‑mail.
• Assist Service department colleagues and sales with technical knowledge.
• Participate in required technical training, mandatory company training, and law‑required training.
• Provide secure and timely technical reports for each work activity.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on planning and commissioning scheduling.
• Offer support to high‑profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
• Maintain direct links with business units on technical issues.
• Support the Company’s Environment, Health & Safety culture and act in accordance with Company guidelines, processes, and code of ethics.

• 10+ years of experience in UPS systems and related maintenance.

• Knowledge of UPS 1‑phase/3‑phase systems, battery backup, and emergency supply.
• Communication skills, customer focus, flexibility, and ability to work across cultures.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with diverse teams.
