The person in this role will lead and coordinate field service engineering operations, manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. They will ensure adherence to technical standards while improving processes and maximising equipment performance. Close collaboration with customers and design teams is key to delivering practical solutions and reliable technical support.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate a team of field service engineers.
- Research, design, install, and maintain mechanical products and systems.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repairs to meet specifications.
- Diagnose equipment failures and recommend solutions.
- Develop and monitor service and maintenance processes.
- Conduct tests to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Provide technical customer service and feedback to design engineers.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience.
- Results‑driven with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Proactive communicator, comfortable engaging at all levels.
- Self‑motivated, organised, and detail‑oriented.
- Resilient under pressure, with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Analytical thinker with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and system optimisation.
