Job Summary

Alpago Design & Build is seeking an experienced Liaison Engineer to manage coordination, approvals, and compliance with all relevant authorities. The role requires strong knowledge of local regulations, approval processes, and effective communication with government bodies to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with local authorities including Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA, RTA, Etisalat, Du, Trakhees, and other relevant entities
  .
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on drawings, NOCs, permits, and approvals for projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure submissions comply with authority requirements.
• Track approval status and ensure timely approvals to avoid project delays.
• Attend authority meetings and address comments, revisions, and compliance issues.
• Ensure all projects adhere to local codes, standards, and regulations
  .
• Maintain records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence.
• Support project teams during construction for authority inspections and final approvals.
• Assist with completion certificates, as-built approvals, and handover documentation
  .

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience as an Authority Liaison Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of authority approval procedures and regulations.
• Experience with design & build projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of authority portals is an advantage.
• Valid driving license preferred.
