Project Engineer - Mechanical

Azizi Developments is looking for a Project Engineer – Mechanical.

• Inspect and monitor all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and gas systems.
• Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and UAE authority regulations.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and verify inspection requests (IRs).
• Identify non‑conformities, issue observations/NCRs, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve site‑related issues.
• Monitor progress to ensure works align with approved schedules and quality requirements.
• Witness and verify pressure tests, balancing, flushing, and commissioning procedures.
• Participate in snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover inspections.
• Support authority inspections and approvals as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 8‑15 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Inspector or similar role.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Consultant Firms in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong experience in high‑rise and residential construction projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE mechanical codes, standards, and authority requirements.
