Overview

We are seeking a skilled and certified Electrical Engineer with DEWA approval to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and demonstrate expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems. As a DEWA-approved engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical projects adhere to the regulations and standards set forth by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

This role requires a proactive individual who is committed to delivering high-quality work, anticipates project challenges, and presents innovative solutions. Additionally, a collaborative team approach and excellent communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with various stakeholders involved in each project.

• Design and oversee the implementation of electrical systems compliant with DEWA standards.
• Conduct site visits to ensure electrical systems are executed as per approved plans.
• Review and approve design drawings and specifications for all electrical installations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate electrical designs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential electrical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor the quality and progress of electrical work on construction sites.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment installations comply with health and safety standards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and completion timelines.
• Keep informed of the latest developments in electrical engineering technologies and DEWA regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of electrical budgets and project cost estimates.
• Provide training and support to junior engineers and technical staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• DEWA approval as an Electrical Engineer is mandatory for this role.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to design and implement electrical systems on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of DEWA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficient in using electrical design software and calculation tools.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
