An opportunity is available for a highly experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join the team in Business Bay, Dubai. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Dubai and hold G+Unlimited Dubai Municipality (DM) approval.
The candidate must have strong structural design expertise and advanced proficiency in Revit, along with practical experience using ETABS, SAFE, PROKON, and STAAD Pro. The role also requires extensive experience reviewing and approving technical submittals, coordinating with project stakeholders, and resolving site-related engineering issues.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve structural shop drawings.
- Review and approve material submittals and method statements.
- Conduct post-tensioning (PT) reviews.
- Review Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Review and approve as-built drawings.
- Evaluate other site-related technical submittals.
- Resolve structural and technical issues arising at project sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure structural design and technical submissions comply with applicable Dubai standards.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Dubai.
- G+Unlimited Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Engineer.
- Revit proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong experience with:
- ETABS
- SAFE
- PROKON
- STAAD Pro
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and Dubai standards.
- Extensive experience reviewing and approving:
- Structural shop drawings
- Material submittals
- Method statements
- PT reviews
- RFIs
- As-built drawings
- Site-related technical submittals
- Ability to resolve site technical issues.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
