Sports Medicine Physician

Reporting to the Country Manager, responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing sports-related injuries and conditions to optimize the physical performance and recovery of athletes and active individuals. The specialist works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, develop personalized treatment plans, and promote long‑term musculoskeletal health and wellness.

• Ensures a high standard of clinical/patient care using a variety of assessment techniques and treatment plans allowing for integration of therapies, where appropriate
• Ensures positive representation of the DISC brand through compliance of all departmental requirements, protocols and standard operating procedures
• Ensure 100% compliance with all DISC, and Health Authority standards as applicable
• Ensure a positive patient experience through clear, caring and compassionate communication, consultations & treatment
• Ensure achievement of monthly revenue generation KPIs
• Ensures that all requirements to maintain a current license status is completed on time;
• Completes all formalities to ensure licensing under the DISC facility

• Educational Achievements/ Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine with specialization in Sports Medicine
• Master’s in Rehabilitation Services or relevant Clinic Master’s
• At least 5 years’ experience within a clinic/OPD or appropriate service environment as a Sports Medicine Doctor
• Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of physical dysfunctions and sports injuries
• Experience with Infection Control processes
• Experience of Ministry of Health/Dubai Health Authority and regulations (based on regulatory body for the location of the Clinic)
