Mindtel Global is hiring a Senior Network & Security Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure team of a leading bank in Dubai. This role is critical for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network operations that support the bank’s core business and expansion initiatives.

As a Senior Network & Security Engineer, you will design and implement advanced network solutions, manage day‑to‑day operations, and ensure compliance with security standards. You will work closely with telecom providers, oversee WAN/LAN connectivity, and maintain Data Center and Disaster Recovery site services. This position offers hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge technologies and an opportunity to play a key role in the bank’s IT transformation.

• Research, design, and present effective network solutions to IT management.
• Monitor and manage corporate data and voice network services for uptime and reliability.
• Provide operational support, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Liaise with telecom providers (Etisalat, DU) for new links and service enhancements.
• Manage WAN and branch LAN connectivity, including structured cabling for expansions.
• Oversee Data Center and Disaster Recovery site network services.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Handle capacity planning, procurement, and inventory control.
• Administer network devices via Cisco Secure ACS and manage DHCP servers.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in network and security engineering (L3 level).
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching (Cisco).
• Firewall Management:
  Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Sophos.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco FTD & FMC, NMS SD‑WAN.
• CCNP Security certification (required).
• CCIE (R&S or Security) preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience in banking or financial sector IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with advanced security protocols and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of network automation tools.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
