Dev Ops Engineers at Dubizzle ensure that all our services are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale. You’ll work closely with development teams from early design to production support, focusing on automation, availability, performance, and reliability.

• Serve as the primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, efficiency, and capacity of our production environment.
• Participate in the design and implementation of systems used to operate Dubizzle, prioritizing automation and maintainability at large scale.
• Build and maintain large CI/CD pipelines (experience with Git Hub Actions preferred).
• Collaborate with development teams on operations-related issues, providing support and acting as stakeholder.
• Provide fast and reliable development environments that replicate production for product teams.
• Develop tools to effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment.
• Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack—hardware, software, application, and network.
• Migrate applications off legacy environments with minimal downtime.
• Participate in a shared 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Document system design and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field and significant experience in Dev Ops.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• 4+ years of experience supporting hosted services in a high‑volume, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience with Dev Ops tools, processes, and culture for distributed systems, supporting mission‑critical systems.
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery pipelines using Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
• Demonstrated ability to write programs/utilities in a high‑level language such as Go, Ruby, Python, and Bash.
• 3+ years of proven experience running and managing infrastructure at scale using Kubernetes.
• Experience migrating to AWS EKS or similar Kubernetes‑based services.
• Experience with service mesh tools like Istio on Kubernetes.
