Job Purpose
To manage the Azure data platform and ensure the data platform is up and running efficiently.
Educational and Technical Requirements- Azure certification required.
- Broad knowledge of applications used by banks and industry trends.
- 12‑15 years of banking software development/implementation for large organizations.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Build and manage cloud‑based solutions, including databases, hybrid solutions, and on‑premises systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Confluent Kafka, Purview, Catalog, Azure Data Storage, and Key Vault.
- Set up and manage Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, and other resources.
- Monitor performance and ensure maximum uptime with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with developers, security experts, and Dev Ops engineers to deliver Azure‑powered solutions.
- Utilize Azure Portal, Power Shell, and CLI for creation, deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Enforce resource access controls, threat protection policies, security, and compliance.
- Set up and troubleshoot Azure networking (virtual networks, subnets, security groups).
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to align Azure resources with company needs.
