Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Location: MBHQ, Al Asayel Street, Downtown, Dubai

Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension

• Proven experience in IT support, desktop support, or asset management roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with secure data erasure standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles.

• Experience with Intune/MDM for device management.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management tools.
• Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus.

• Perform secure data wiping, formatting, and degaussing of laptops, Surface Pro devices, and Mac Books.
• Ensure compliance with data security and follow the organizational asset disposal process.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all processed devices, including asset tags and device details (S/N, etc.).
• Troubleshoot device related issues during the sanitization process.
• Coordinate with IT Asset Management and Desktop Support teams for tracking and handover of disposed assets.
• Follow company approved tools and methods (e.g., Bit Locker, File Vault, third-party wiping utilities).
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace while handling devices.
• Provide periodic status updates and reports on disposal activities.

• Responsible for securely formatting, wiping, and preparing IT assets for disposal while ensuring compliance with data security policies.
