* Job Description:
** The Digital Strategy Director will lead and elevate digital media strategies across pitches and existing accounts. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role is responsible for building innovative, data-informed narratives and solutions that strengthen dentsu media’s strategic offering and client impact. The Digital Strategy Director bridges the gap between brand strategy and digital execution, ensuring strategies are future-ready, platform-agnostic, and grounded in measurable outcomes.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead digital media strategy in pitches and major account reviews, delivering compelling narratives, innovations, and best-in-class solutions.
* Define digital investment strategies, balancing allocations across programmatic, social, video, and emerging platforms.
* Establish and track relevant KPIs, ensuring strategies are measurable and data-driven.
* Identify and integrate the right data sources to enrich decision-making, ensuring seamless flow between platforms and analytics.
* Advise planners and trading teams on digital platform capabilities, optimization levers, and measurement opportunities.
* Partner closely with measurement leads to ensure alignment between strategy and performance reporting.
* Provide feedback to the Product & Solutions Lead and Audience Data Lead to inform product development and innovation roadmap.
* Stay ahead of emerging platforms, technologies, and data solutions to ensure strategies remain competitive and forward-looking.
** Qualifications & Experience
*** 10+ years’ experience in digital strategy, planning, or media consulting, with proven leadership in pitches and client strategy.
* Deep expertise in programmatic, social, and digital video ecosystems.
* Strong understanding of big tech platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, Tik Tok, Snap, etc.) and their measurement frameworks.
* Experience integrating multiple data sources into unified planning and measurement strategies.
* Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex digital solutions into compelling narratives.
* Collaborative leadership style, able to bridge strategy, trading, product, and data functions.
