Urgent requirement for Lead Data Specialist – Core Banking Data Migration – Finacle (Mandatory) is required for our banking client in Dubai, UAE.

• Experience with at least 3 core banking data migration projects, specifically on Finacle (Mandatory).
• Strong experience in Finacle data structures and migration strategies is mandatory.
• Advanced SQL and data handling skills are required.
• Experience with core banking modules such as Assets, Liabilities, Trade Finance, and GL’s.
• Banking industry experience is mandatory.
• Lead Data Specialist role to manage and oversee end‑to‑end data migration process for core banking transformation projects.

• Lead data migration projects and manage the full data migration lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, validation, and go‑live.
• Ensure seamless transition from legacy banking platforms to modern core banking systems (e.g., Finacle).
• Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Data mapping and transformation: validate and review data mapping from legacy systems to Finacle, recommend and implement solutions to resolve mapping and transformation issues.
• Lead post‑migration data validation and reconciliation, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration process.
• Stakeholder management: engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations; act as primary point of contact for all data migration‑related communications.
• Testing and troubleshooting: develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT); resolve data‑related issues during pre‑ and post‑migration phases.
• Documentation and compliance: document data migration strategy, methodologies, data flow diagrams, and exception handling procedures; ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards.

  identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with data migration activities; develop contingency and rollback plans.
• Leadership and mentoring: lead, mentor, and guide data migration team members; schedule, monitor, and review tasks to drive consistency, reduce risk, and improve delivery.
• Continuous improvement: analyze lessons learned and refine methodologies for future migrations; proactively identify areas for process enhancements.
• Project support: provide support to related transformation projects and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks; respond to management requirements related to data governance and program reporting.
