Aqovia is looking for an experienced Software Delivery Manager to lead successful projects, manage software development life cycles, foster client relationships and drive growth through consultative sales. This hybrid position is based in Dubai.

Bridging Technical Expertise and Client Engagement

• Guide technical teams, steering a proficient software development team to meet client expectations in quality, cost and timeliness, and lead Agile programmes.
• Master client relationships, balancing client needs with internal resources, and use Agile expertise to manage those relationships.
• Strategic growth and risk management: expand Aqovia’s presence through strategic sales and client engagement, identify and manage risk to support revenue and account objectives.

• Software delivery management: oversee multiple account/project deliveries, ensuring efficiency, scalability and alignment with product management principles.
• Embrace Agile practices: uphold and continually improve Agile practices across all projects and teams, fostering an environment where change is embraced.
• Client coaching in Agile product development: coach product managers, prioritise features, manage backlogs and drive iterations effectively.
• Advocate Agile engineering practices: promote XP, pair programming, TDD, CI to enhance quality and productivity.
• Comprehensive reporting: provide transparent, effective communication and detailed reporting aligned to DORA metrics.
• Nurture and manage technical teams: grow and manage performance of full‑stack developers, Dev Ops engineers, technical analysts and UX/UI engineers.
• Client experience management: oversee client experience, delivering high satisfaction and engagement.
• Profitability oversight: manage profitability of accounts, ensuring financial success and growth.

• Agile expertise: extensive knowledge and experience in managing software development life cycles within an Agile framework.
• Leadership experience: proven track record in leading software development teams, line management and project delivery.
• Tool proficiency: expertise in JIRA, Octopus Deploy, Team City, Azure and Dev Sec Ops  policy management.
• Exceptional communication skills: ability to distil complex technical issues into simple terms.
• Resource management: experience in resource allocation and adherence to organisational policies.
