About the RoleWe are seeking a Security Research & Automation Engineer to join our team and drive innovation at the intersection of offensive security and automation. In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in cyber security, OSINT, and scripting to uncover vulnerabilities, automate security workflows, and strengthen defenses across cloud, API, mobile, and network environments.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on researcher who thrives on building systems that scale, transforming manual security tasks into efficient automated solutions, and contributing cutting‑edge findings back to the security community.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement security automation systems, reducing manual workloads and accelerating detection and response.
- Leverage Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques for threat hunting, investigations, and exposure analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to integrate automated solutions into production environments.
- Support incident response and remediation efforts by providing research-driven insights and automated tooling.
- Continuously evaluate and deploy emerging security tools, frameworks, and AI/automation technologies.
- Proven experience in security research, automation, and penetration testing.
- Strong background in Python and scripting for automation.
- Hands‑on knowledge of API, and network penetration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in security and automation of complex tasks.
- Experience with OSINT frameworks and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to innovate and streamline processes.
- Track record of publishing vulnerabilities (e.g., CVEs).
- Exposure to cloud security (AWS, OCI) and automation frameworks.
- Experience working in red team environments.
- Knowledge of digital forensics and adversary emulation.
