Principal Data Scientist – Cyber Security | Dubai

We’re partnered with a leading Cyber Security organisation in Dubai to hire a Principal Data Scientist
. This role is ideal for a seasoned data science professional — someone with 10+ years’ experience applying machine learning to complex, high-impact problems — and a deep technical interest in cyber defence.

You’ll play a hands‑on role in designing, building, and deploying ML architectures that power next‑generation threat detection and predictive security systems. Working at the intersection of AI, data, and cyber security
, you’ll drive innovation while remaining deeply involved in technical delivery.

• Architect, develop, and deploy advanced ML models for anomaly detection, intrusion prevention, and predictive defence.
• Collaborate with cyber research and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into real‑world security products.
• Lead the design of scalable data and ML pipelines capable of handling high‑volume, adversarial data.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and research to continuously evolve the organisation’s ML stack.
• Mentor and guide data scientists and ML engineers, setting technical direction and best practices.

• 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI, with a focus on hands‑on technical work.
• Strong background in cyber security
  , ideally with experience in malware analysis, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
• Proven record of building production‑grade ML systems and data architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in Python
  , Tensor Flow/Py Torch , and distributed data technologies (Spark, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Deep understanding of modern ML methodologies, from feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
• Strong communicator and problem‑solver, able to operate both strategically and technically.
