Senior QA Automation Tester; Air Cargo Logistics

Job Brief

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Tester with 8+ years of experience, preferably in air cargo including last mile logistics. The role involves ensuring the quality, performance, and security of web/mobile applications, APIs, and background jobs. This includes comprehensive testing strategies, live monitoring, and support for integrations, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

• Perform functional testing as per sprint deliverables
• Conduct load and performance testing to verify application scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Develop and maintain automated unit test cases ensuring stable deployments and operations post updates
• Support testing and validation of carrier integrations for seamless connectivity with logistics partners
• Strong understanding of rates, charges and invoicing modules to reconcile from a finance perspective
• In‑depth knowledge of inbound, outbound, journey and fulfillment processes to ensure transparent operations on the technical front
• Identify common issues and data requests to focus more on process automation
• Assist with IT security assessments, including detailed reporting on vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and remediation
• Provide data lake integration support to ensure data accuracy and usability for analytics
• Assist in building and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base and incident reporting

• 8+ years in QA automation, with a minimum of 5 years in air cargo logistics and supply chain management
• Experience in test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
• In‑depth knowledge of performance & functional testing tools – Runscope, JMeter, Load Runner
• Experience working with API monitoring tools – Postman, New Relic, and Elastic log tools – Logstash, Kibana
• Experience in data flow monitoring applications – Prometheus with Grafana or Datadog
• Experience in SQL programming, preferably Postgres databases, to be able to verify APIs from a data perspective
• Experience in working with micro‑services based architecture, internal data communication framework, queuing systems and AWS infrastructure
• Knowledge of carrier integrations on API & EDI and third‑party integrations
• Experience in UAE or Middle East region is a plus
