HR Corner Group is supporting a forward-looking client in their search for an experienced IoT Solutions Architect to drive the design and deployment of intelligent, interconnected systems across complex environments. From smart city applications to real-time data monitoring, this is a pivotal role at the intersection of embedded technology, cloud computing, and business transformation.

To design, implement, and scale secure, high-performing IoT architectures that leverage sensors, cloud platforms, and real-time analytics to optimize business processes and enable automation.

IoT Architecture Design & Integration

• Define and architect end-to-end IoT solutions, including sensor selection, edge computing, gateway protocols, and cloud backends.

• Develop system blueprints for smart devices, telemetry networks, and connected infrastructure.

• Integrate IoT systems with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT) and enterprise data layers.

Security & Data Management

• Implement secure communication protocols and device-level encryption to ensure data privacy and compliance.

• Design frameworks for device authentication, firmware updates, and anomaly detection.

• Ensure resilience, scalability, and redundancy across the solution architecture.

Intelligent Insights & Automation

• Collaborate with data science and AI teams to deliver predictive analytics, real-time alerts, and automated responses.

• Incorporate machine learning models into sensor networks to optimize energy use, detect anomalies, or forecast system needs.

• Utilize data lakes and cloud-native analytics tools to structure and derive insights from IoT data streams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Leadership

• Engage with hardware engineers, cloud architects, developers, and business stakeholders to align on design, performance, and budget goals.

• Translate business needs into technical architecture requirements and delivery roadmaps.

• Oversee proof of concepts, vendor integration, and rollout of connected devices and solutions.

✅ 6–10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on IoT systems, edge devices, and connected platforms.
✅ Strong technical knowledge of embedded systems, sensor networks, wireless communication protocols (MQTT, Zigbee, LoRaWAN).
✅ Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration tools for data pipelines and visualization.

✅ Experience with IoT security best practices, including device authentication and data encryption.
✅ Familiarity with smart city infrastructure, industrial IoT, or real-time monitoring systems is a strong advantage.
✅ Excellent communication and project leadership skills, capable of working across technical and business teams.
✅ Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IoT Systems, or similar.
