Effective management of SAP release cycles is critical for smooth deployment and operational efficiency, involving coordination across multiple teams and tools. This role demands expertise in SAP S/4
HANA, transport management, and compliance with ITIL practices, supported by strong planning and communication skills.
- Plan and manage SAP release cycles, ensuring smooth deployment of transports and enhancements.
- Coordinate with AMS teams, ATG CoE, and SAP RISE for release readiness and cutover activities.
- Maintain release calendar, track dependencies, and manage risk mitigation plans.
- Oversee transport management, regression testing coordination, and compliance with ATG governance.
- Prepare and share release dashboards, reports, and ensure stakeholder communication.
- Drive continuous improvement in release processes to minimize downtime and optimize delivery.
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP release and transport management.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4
HANA, WRICEF objects, and integration points. - Familiarity with SAP CALM, Solution Manager, and ITSM tools (e.g., BMC Helix).
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 Release & Deployment Management practices.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Certifications in ITIL, SAP Release Management, or equivalent preferred.
