IT Applications Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager to own, architect, and evolve the organization’s enterprise application landscape. This role blends hands‑on technical depth with strategic leadership , covering ERP platforms, cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, system integrations, AI‑driven automation, and custom application development.

The ideal candidate has grown from a strong engineering background into an applications leadership role, capable of designing solutions, reviewing code, challenging vendors , and translating business needs into scalable, secure systems.

• Own and manage enterprise platforms including SAP S / 4
  
  HANA, SAP BTP, Epicor , and internally developed applications.
• Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Drive SAP BTP adoption for extensions, integrations, and automation.

• Design, implement and govern application architecture , integrations, and API strategies across cloud and on‑prem systems.
• Develop, deploy and maintain custom enterprise solutions using .NET, Python, Angular, and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure integration patterns using REST / OData and event‑driven approaches.

• Lead migration and optimization of workloads to cloud AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) and Azure.
• Oversee CI / CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Docker , and modern Dev Ops practices.
• Balance cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for performance, cost, and compliance.

• Identify and implement AI‑driven solutions including virtual agents, workflow automation, and RPA.
• Deliver measurable business outcomes such as cost reduction, efficiency gains, and improved customer experience.
• Evaluate emerging AI and automation tools for enterprise use.

• Enforce application security standards aligned with OWASP Top 10 and VAPT findings.
• Collaborate with security teams to harden applications and ensure compliance.
• Fix and mitigate the security findings in web and mobile applications

• Lead and mentor internal teams and external consultants across functional and technical domains.
• Manage vendors and system integrators, including RFPs, evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Own application budgets, resource planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor to Head of Enterprise Applications.

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise application development and management.
• Proven experience managing ERP ecosystems (SAP S / 4
  
  HANA, or equivalent).
• Strong background in software engineering with hands‑on experience in Java, .NET, and Python.
• Solid experience with system integrations , APIs, and middleware platforms.
• Practical experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI or automation initiatives with tangible business impact.
• Experience leading teams and managing third‑party vendors.
• Knowledge of On Prem Infrastructure from Applications Perspective (VMs, Certificates, Loading Balancing, High Availablity etc)

Strong understanding of application security and enterprise governance.
