Junior Product Manager – Oracle Net Suite (Insurance Domain)

Role Overview

The Junior Oracle Net Suite Product Manager will be a key supporting member of the product team focused on managing and optimizing the Net Suite platform. Reporting directly to the Head of Product and CX - Finance, this role centres on the execution of the Net Suite roadmap, feature documentation, user support, and quality assurance. The goal is to ensure the platform effectively and compliantly supports the financial, sales, and operational needs of the brokerage.

The Junior PM will work closely with a cross‑functional team, including the API Expert, Business Analyst (BA), and Quality Assurance (QA) specialist.

• Backlog & Planning: Assist the Head of Product in grooming and prioritizing the Net Suite feature backlog (enhancements, bug fixes, custom reports) and writing clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date product documentation, including system configurations, process flows, user manuals, and training materials.
• Release Management: Support the planning and execution of bi‑annual Net Suite upgrades, conducting rigorous pre‑ and post‑upgrade testing.

  Partner with the Business Analyst to refine requirements and the QA team to define and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of all deployments.

• Configuration: Perform configuration changes under guidance, including creating and managing custom fields, custom records, lists, saved searches, and basic workflows (Suite Flow) to support new insurance products or business requirements.
• User Support: Act as the Tier 1/Tier 2 support for Net Suite end‑users, troubleshooting operational issues, managing access permissions, and conducting basic data integrity checks.
• Reporting: Generate standard and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards within Net Suite to provide operational teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) with necessary data, such as commission tracking and policy payment status.

• Process Mapping: Develop a deep understanding of core insurance business processes—especially those related to policy inception, premium accounting, commission reconciliation, and regulatory financial reporting— and how they are mapped and executed in Net Suite.
• Compliance: Assist in ensuring that Net Suite processes and data collection comply with the financial and security regulations set by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
• Training: Conduct basic training sessions for new and existing users on specific Net Suite features and insurance workflows to drive platform adoption and proficiency.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 1‑3 years of experience working directly with Oracle Net Suite in an administration, analyst, or support capacity.
