Senior SAP FICO Consultant - Implementation & Support

The Senior SAP FICO Consultant will lead and deliver SAP FI/CO solutions across implementation and support engagements, with strong ownership of business process design, configuration, testing, and go-live readiness.

The role requires deep functional expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), and proven experience driving cross-module integration and stakeholder alignment.

• Lead FI/CO solution design, system configuration, and functional ownership across project phases (requirements, blueprint, realization, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare).
• Conduct business requirement workshops, perform gap analysis, and translate as-is / to-be processes into SAP configuration and functional specifications.
• Configure core FI areas (e.g., GL, AP, AR, AA, bank accounting, tax as applicable) and CO areas (e.g., cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, CO-PA as applicable) aligned to business controls and reporting needs.
• Drive integration with other SAP modules (commonly SD/MM/PP and related touchpoints), ensuring end-to-end process integrity and accurate financial postings.
• Plan and execute unit testing, SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and sign-off management; support cutover activities and month-end close readiness during go-live.
• Deliver end-user training, documentation (configuration/work instructions), and provide post go-live support and continuous experience.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in SAP FI/CO consulting/configuration, including large project delivery and stakeholder-facing roles.
• Minimum 23 end-to-end SAP FI/CO implementations (from blueprint through go-live and hypercare) in a lead/independent delivery capacity.
• Strong functional understanding of finance/accounting processes and controls, with the ability to map business needs to standard SAP capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Strong SAP FI/CO configuration skills and the ability to recommend solutions that maximize standard SAP functionality and ROI.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and workshop facilitation skills, including the ability to work with business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for issue resolution across testing and production support.
