• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (8+ years) working as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in the banking or financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of banking business processes, products, and regulatory requirements, with expertise in one or more banking domains, such as retail banking, corporate banking, wealth management, or payments.
• Strong knowledge of digital banking systems and technologies, basic knowledge of core banking systems, payment systems, and regulatory reporting solutions.
• Open Shift, Micro Services, MS Azure, Kubernetes, End to End architecture Omni channel, API gateway understanding, Enterprise Integration platforms like Confluent Kafka, API design, Database
• Proficiency in architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies, with experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
• Experience in working in Agile delivery model
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure, and experience with cloud-based solution architectures and migration strategies.
• Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks
• Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF, Azure Certified Solutions Architect are desirable.

• Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions that meet the business requirements and align with the bank's strategic goals and IT roadmap.
• Banking Domain Expertise: Leverage deep domain knowledge of banking and financial services to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools in the banking industry and provide recommendations for their adoption and integration into the bank's IT landscape.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third‑party vendors to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• System Integration: Define integration strategies and patterns to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability between different banking systems and applications.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that solution designs comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for data privacy, security, and compliance.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization, scalability enhancements, and cost optimization within the solution architecture.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with solution implementation, including technical risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, architectural diagrams, and design artifacts, and ensure adherence to architectural governance processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and agility of solution delivery processes and methodologies.
