Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, JP AMZL Planning and Analytics
Amazon seeks a Senior Manager for Japan's Operations Planning and Execution that combines strategic vision with collaborative and analytical skills to build and improve the Japan transportation network. In this role you will lead a team in our Tokyo headquarters to help deliver customer packages faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost while building towards a long-term vision.
Key job responsibilities- Think Strategically and develop 5-year plans across different organizations
- Autonomously coming up with and quickly implementing innovative and disruptive ideas
- Continuously learning new skills and knowledge areas to grow, develop, and better serve our customers
- Influencing a broad set of stakeholders and working with diverse and dynamic teams
- Solving analytical problems and drawing conclusions from large complex data sets
- Managing, coaching, and developing colleagues to build a stronger team
- 4+ years of supply chain experience
- 4+ years of team management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
