Location: Dubai

Position Type: Full Time

• Define and own the enterprise data architecture blueprint (conceptual, logical, physical models).
• Design and guide implementation of cloud data platforms (primarily on Azure – Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, ADF, Azure SQL, Power BI).
• Set standards and best practices for data modelling, integration (ETL/ELT), data quality, metadata and master data.
• Ensure robust data security, governance and compliance in partnership with Info Sec and business teams.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability and cost

• Partner with product, business and engineering teams to translate use cases into scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Mentor data engineers/architects and contribute to architecture review and data governance forums
  .

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in data architecture, including enterprise‑scale data platforms in complex environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure data stack (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Power BI or similar).
• Solid understanding of big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and modern data warehousing/lakehouse concepts.
• Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and governance

• Experience in retail /e‑commerce environments is nice to have.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
