Role – Technical Manager

Area of expertise – Technical – Expert in Core Banking Packages in Retail / Corporate Banking

Location – Dubai, UAE

Leading Technical Streams in Large & Strategic Core Banking Transformation Programs.

Seasoned technical project lead for banking applications, leading transformation programs. The role requires technical design, development, validation and support that align with client needs and architectural requirements.

• Relevant years of experience in a Bank / Banking Product Company from international reputation
• Fluent in English
• Understand SDLC lifecycle, AGILE methodologies, etc.
• Good knowledge on technical aspects such as architecture, databases and program structure.
• Write SQL queries, packages, scripts and technical setups.
• Collaborate with BAs and banks to translate functional solutions into detailed technical solutions ensuring fitment within product framework.
• Strong analytical skills for technical issue analysis.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, formats, methodologies and technologies.
• Proficiency in a programming language (Java, C++ or JavaScript) and familiarity with operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
• Ensure effective design, development, validation and support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.

• Seasoned technical project lead for banking applications
• Provides technical skills on core banking applications, without managerial responsibilities
• Can work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines
• Collaborates with LOB and Change Management teams across all project components: requirements, design reviews, issue resolution, etc.
• Works with multiple teams across the enterprise and external partners
• Functional and technical background on Core Banking Applications

• Ability to work as part of a cross‑cultural team, with flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
• Analytical, goal‑oriented, high quality awareness, good team player
• High degree of initiative and flexibility
• Willing to travel on engagements of 6‑8 week duration
