Dev Ops Engineers at Dubizzle ensure that all services are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale. You’ll use your experience as an operations generalist to work closely with development teams from the early stages of design through to production issue resolution. Your focus will be automation, availability, performance, and reliability.
In This Role, You Will- Serve as the primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, efficiency, and capacity of our production environment
- Be part of the implementation and design of systems used to operate Dubizzle, focusing on automation and maintainability at large scale
- Build large CI/CD processes (Git Hub Actions preferred)
- Collaborate with developers on operations‑related issues, providing support and acting as a stakeholder
- Provide fast and reliable development experience for product teams by maintaining production‑like environments for development and testing
- Develop tools to monitor custom applications in a large‑scale environment
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack—hardware, software, application, and network
- Migrate applications off legacy environments with minimal downtime
- Participate in a shared 24/7 on‑call rotation
- Document system design and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field with significant Dev Ops experience
- AWS Solutions Architect certification
- 4+ years of experience supporting hosted services in a high‑volume customer‑facing environment
- Experience with Dev Ops tools, processes, culture, distributed systems, and mission‑critical systems
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar tools
- Proficiency in a high‑level programming language (Go, Ruby, Python) and Bash scripting
- 3+ years of experience running and managing infrastructure at scale using Kubernetes
- Experience migrating traditional stacks to AWS EKS or similar
- Experience with service‑mesh tools such as Istio on Kubernetes
