Senior Solution Architect - Banking Technology

Location:

• Possesses extensive experience in banking, accounting, payments, or settlements.
• Prior exposure to wealth management domains, including capital markets, funds, ETFs, or equities.
• Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new domains.

• Has participated in and/or led a minimum of three projects involving the design and architecture of resilient, reliable, and secure applications (including mobile applications) within a microservices and API‑based ecosystem.
• Develops and maintains architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.

• Experienced in working with Agile Methodologies and within Agile teams.
• Agile Team concepts such as Tribes & Squads.
• Agile Ceremonies including Quarterly Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinement, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Agile Deliverables such as Features, Epics, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

• Over five years of experience in end‑to‑end design patterns, high‑level designs, and solutions for applications (backend, frontend, mobile), APIs, message brokers, event‑streams, and microservices on container‑based/cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Profound knowledge and experience in proposing architectural design principles and patterns, and justifying their respective benefits and drawbacks.
• Adequate knowledge and experience in integrating cyber and information security controls into products through methods such as Data Classification, Regulatory Requirements (e.g., PCI‑DSS, UAE Central Bank, GDPR), Threat Modelling, and Security Requirements (Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).
• Experience implementing cybersecurity controls such as Authentication, Authorization, Encryption Algorithms & Keys, Data Security, and Security Events Logging & Alerting.
• Some knowledge and experience in offensive and defensive cybersecurity strategies.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and technologies including, but not limited to, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Embedding Models, Vector Databases, Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI Agents, Agentic AI, Git Hub Co‑Pilot, Claude Code, or similar.

• Delivery‑focused while maintaining an optimal balance of Customer Experience, Functional Requirements, Performance, Reliability, Resiliency, and Security.
