Technical Integration Lead - Backend Services

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Integration Lead. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex integration projects and driving innovation in API-driven solutions. The objective of the candidate is to build a capability to quickly operationalize integrations with its customer's ERP solutions in a reliable and scalable manner - minimizing the time to deploy each new customer integration.

Ideally, the candidate should have done something similar in his previous role(s).

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions between our product and various ERP systems, leveraging open APIs and iPaaS technologies as appropriate.
• Architect and maintain scalable integration architectures and patterns, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of integration solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to define integration requirements and prioritize integration initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable integration components, connectors, and templates to expedite integration projects and enhance productivity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to integration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in integration and API management, continuously optimizing integration processes and have successfully built and scaled integration capabilities for his former employer.
• Extensive knowledge of integration technologies and protocols, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and iPaaS hands on proficiency in backend programming languages (preferably Node.js) Hands-on experience with integration platforms and tools such as iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), API gateways, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, and middleware solutions.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Netsuite, SAP, or Salesforce.
