External Consultant - Procurement Technology Associate
Location:
UAE
- Understand business requirement; ensure CPD function performs to its expected level in terms of quality, quantity, vendor / supplier relation, end user satisfaction and bottom‑line contribution within agreed time frames.
- Sourcing, negotiating and managing technology related goods and services
- Source and procure IT hardware, software, cloud services and technology consulting including fintech platforms.
- Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) in collaboration with IT, Architecture and Security teams.
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, licensing models, SLAs
- Partnering with IT cybersecurity, architecture, legal, finance and risk teams
- Act as the commercial interface between technology stakeholders and vendors.
- Identify the areas of cost save, demand management & process improvement.
- Identify suitable potential vendors in areas related to Technology (not limited).
- Explore new and innovative ideas for automation, modernizing and simplifying the process, cost effective and value added.
- Basic knowledge & input for Procurement Policy (PP), SOP revision, and visibility of PP, compliance to PP internally and externally in the bank.
- Proactiveness in spend management, technology stakeholder engagement and strategy.
- Timely sourcing and renewal of contracts in coordination & intimation to right department.
- Timely issuance of Purchase Orders to the vendors.
- Timely floating of RFP/RFI, issuance of LPO's accuracy (i.e. ADM category, cost centres, chargeability etc.)
- Daily, weekly, monthly MIS to Head of Technology Procurement.
- Identify cost save transactions and recommend.
- Recommend suitable potential suppliers with regard to internal demand requirements.
- Graduate within minimum 3 years of technology procurement experience.
- Strong analytical skill with Excel, Word, MIS reporting, and PowerPoint with good presentation & communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of bank operating system specifically Oracle, procurement related applications viz. Sourcing, Tendering, eAuction Contract Management System.
- Teamwork, punctuality, innovation, willingness to take more responsibility.
- Professional, with a proven track record of integrity and ethical values without any doubt.
- Location: Candidate will work from Dubai onsite‑DOZ
- Billing: UAE billing
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Experience: 4 years min in procurement; please share CVs from well‑known organisations and banking industry experience is a must
- Immediate joiner, candidate must be in UAE
