Job OverviewThe Data Intelligence Reporting Specialist will be responsible for data mining, design, creation, and timely production of accurate International Health reports, together with maintenance and support of these reports within the global reporting team for Health OEs such as Allianz Care, Nextcare, Medi‑24, Mawista and Australia Students. The role also supports reporting across all Operations departments.
What You Do- Creation and maintenance of reports and data in line with documented Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Design, create, maintain, enhance, and analyze dashboard reports and KPIs across a range of data intelligence tools.
- Understand data relationships between business processes and systems, applying this knowledge when interpreting information requirements.
- Identify changing trends and anomalies in data, investigate and explain them.
- Translate data, analysis, and commentary into clear, concise stories that support management in strategic decisions.
- Create, test, and deliver existing and ad‑hoc reports from current systems.
- Maintain reporting from legacy systems, including complex reports such as Claims trend & Leakage reports, meeting agreed deadlines.
- Gather, interpret, identify gaps and translate business reporting requirements into global reporting solutions.
- Create ad‑hoc data extracts via SQL.
- Understand database concepts, terminology, design principles, and deliver reporting accordingly.
- Expert knowledge of Power
BI, Oracle Database, Alteryx, Celonis and Excel. - Build robust testing, analysis, and aggregation processes to ensure data trustworthiness.
- Enhance data quality and integrity within Allianz Partners systems.
- Proactively manage and own daily, weekly, and monthly workflows to meet KPIs and service standards.
- Continuously develop technical, systems, business, and insurance knowledge and support other team members.
- Serve as the Operations reference point for all Business Information Management questions.
- Ensure Operations data performance aligns with key stakeholder data, e.g., regional office alignment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with extensive knowledge of Management Information Systems, preferably within the insurance/financial services industry.
- Exceptional analytical skills, able to understand complex data structures and organize data extraction and transformation processes.
- Excellent presentation, customer‑focused, confident, personable character.
- Highly motivated, proactive, self‑starter, responsible, highly committed, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working to and meeting deadlines.
- Inspirational team player who motivates others.
- Proven Management Information reporting and Business Analyst skills, including requirement analysis and interpreting user needs.
- Data source analysis and consolidation.
- Report building and writing.
- Financial & KPI reporting.
- Data modeling within an integrated common landscape.
- Data quality and integrity.
- Problem solving and effective solution delivery.
- Demonstrable expert knowledge of Power
BI, SQL, PL/SQL, and MS Excel.
