The purpose of this job is to manage the Reinsurance Casualty Portfolio for all geographies under the purview of GCC & NA Cluster.

• Portfolio Management and oversight of underwriting staff.
• Ownership of Casualty Reinsurance P&L, including corrective measures on GOE, NLI and acquisition costs.
• Ensure adherence to Casualty Underwriting Guidelines set by the Chief Underwriting Office.
• Compliance with tools such as Duck‑Creek and local rating guidelines.
• Maintain profitability across Casualty lines: CGL, WC/EL, DBA, Commercial Auto, Product Recall, Environment Impairment Liability.
• Develop local strategies in collaboration with the Chief Underwriting Office.
• Retain and grow new business; maintain strong broker/client relationships.
• Generate new business from existing producers and up‑sell current accounts.
• Maintain account retention rates per company norms.
• Review and refresh existing products on 18/24‑month cycle; innovate and develop new products.
• Leverage technology for high‑volume, small‑ticket policies to improve efficiency.
• Provide support and guidance to the team for personal and professional development, including technical development and communication.
• Ensure team performance aligns with company norms and achieves objectives.
• Maintain internal relationships with senior management, claims adjusters, business development managers, lawyers, compliance officers and finance.
• Maintain external relationships with brokers, clients, risk managers, and loss adjusters.

Degree in a related field or equivalent insurance qualifications.

Experience in underwriting and managing a Casualty Portfolio.
