Job Overview

As a captive insurance professional, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing risk analyses and developing innovative solutions to mitigate risks within captive programs.

• Assess and analyze risk assessments to identify opportunities for value-added insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to advise on moderately complex risks related to captive insurance and oversee the execution of insurance transactions to optimize coverage and risk retention strategies.
• Provide exceptional client service as the primary point of contact for inquiries and concerns related to captive insurance programs.
• Ensure timely and accurate production of account and program documentation, including policy documents, endorsements, and renewals, while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee captive insurance operations, including policy administration, claims coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Pursue new business opportunities through supporting client acquisition efforts and expanding captive insurance program offerings.
• Independently manage assignments related to captive insurance programs and collaborate with brokers or managers on larger or more complex client engagements.
• Nurture strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, clients, and internal colleagues to deliver comprehensive and effective captive insurance solutions.
• Demonstrate expertise in various insurance coverage lines, market conditions, and specialized products relevant to captive insurance to better serve client needs.
• Verify contract documents, bond forms, and banking terms and conditions related to captive insurance transactions.

• Proven underwriting experience with a strong understanding of insurance structures and operations.
• Sound knowledge of risk analysis, insurance policy documentation, and client advisory within the insurance space.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments with attention to detail and operational efficiency.
• Strong organizational skills to oversee captive program documentation and compliance.
• Familiarity with insurance markets, coverage lines, and regulatory environments affecting captive insurance.
