They should be familiar with G-code programming and machine control interfaces, along with knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining techniques. Awareness of safety protocols, quality control measures, and maintenance procedures is also crucial. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with vocational training or certification in CNC machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field being preferred.

Experience in operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines is essential, as is proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measurement tools.

• Set up and calibrate 2-axis CNC lathe machines for production.
