Carbon Fiber Parts Technician​/Composites Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Carbon Fiber Parts Technician to join our growing composites workshop. This role is hands‑on and technical
, focused on creating pattern molds from original parts and producing high‑quality carbon fiber components
.

• Create pattern molds from original parts (automotive or custom components)
• Prepare master patterns (repairing, filling, sanding, priming, surface finishing)
• Design and build molds (gelcoat, fiberglass, epoxy, vinyl ester, or silicone where required)
• Apply mold release systems (wax, PVA, or wax‑only systems)
• Lay up carbon fiber parts using:
  • Wet layup
  • Vacuum bagging
  • Resin infusion (preferred)
• Trim, finish, and inspect final carbon fiber parts
• Ensure proper fiber orientation, resin control, and surface quality
• Maintain clean and organized workshop practices
• Follow safety procedures when working with resins, solvents, and composites

• Proven experience in carbon fiber part manufacturing
• Strong experience in pattern mold creation from existing parts
• Hands‑on knowledge of:
  • Gelcoats & tooling resins
  • Epoxy / vinyl ester systems
  • Vacuum bagging consumables and setup
• Ability to achieve high‑quality surface finish
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset
