IT Channel Engineer – Customer Facing

• Provide partners with training, resources and support to effectively sell Eaton’s products or services; monitor and analyze partner performance, identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
• Foster strong, long‑term relationships with channel partners and collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product management) to align initiatives and support partner activities from a technical engineering perspective.
• Offer technical support to close deals and meet sales targets; stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and market opportunities to adapt channel strategies.
• Identify, recruit and onboard new channel partners while nurturing existing relationships.
• Promote Eaton run‑rate business to support resellers and manage contracts and agreements with channel partners.
• Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts and reports on resellers performance.
• Maintain knowledge of Eaton portfolio and competitors’ capabilities for competitive intelligence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 2+ years of IT Channel Growth Experience with Tier 2 IT Resellers/System Integrators

• Basic knowledge of UPS technologies and ability to perform UPS sizing and load analysis.
• Understanding of power quality issues (voltage sags, harmonics, transients) and how UPS systems mitigate them.
• Familiarity with battery technologies (VRLA, Li‑ion, NiCd) and their integration with UPS systems.
• Sales & Business Development, Relationship Building, Strategic Thinking, CRM Proficiency, Industry Knowledge, Problem Solving.
