Job Summary

The Content & Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing and optimizing product listings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and SEO compliance across Sharaf DG’s e-commerce platform. The role requires hands‑on experience with PIM systems (Akeneo or similar), bulk data management, and coordination with internal teams and agencies for content execution. In addition to content management, this role supports key marketing operations, POS marketing support, and vendor/PO management.

The ideal candidate should be detail‑oriented, data‑driven, and capable of managing large datasets while ensuring timely delivery and content excellence across digital and retail touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain product titles, descriptions, bullet points, specifications, images, and attributes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage product attributes and bulk uploads through PIM (Akeneo), ensuring smooth data flow between ERP, PIM, and website.
  • Conduct daily audits to validate product content, troubleshoot listing issues, and fix misclassified categories or incorrect facet filters.
  • Identify and create variant groupings for improved catalog navigation and customer experience.
  • Structure content for better SEO visibility, including keyword‑optimized titles, bullet points, and metadata.
  • Apply schema markup and structured product data best practices.
  • Support implementation of on‑page SEO improvements for better discoverability and ranking.
  • Allocate and monitor content execution tasks assigned to agencies, ensuring adherence to turnaround time (TAT) and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain content trackers, reporting sheets, and dashboards for visibility into progress and accuracy.
  • Review and approve deliverables in alignment with internal quality and SEO standards.
  • Collaborate with Category and Marketing teams for Quicksilver program planning and campaign execution.
  • Support POS marketing by coordinating product data and campaign updates across systems.
  • Process seller and in‑house requests for content updates, activation/deactivation of listings, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Category, Marketing, Operations, IT) for smoother data and content flow.
  • Manage vendor communication for content‑related deliverables and timelines.
  • Create and track Purchase Orders (POs) related to content and marketing services, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
  • Maintain performance reports for content accuracy, agency productivity, SEO optimization status, and catalog health.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for catalog or data sync issues and coordinate with Dev/IT for resolution.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in product content management, cataloging, or e-commerce operations.
  • Proficient with PIM platforms (Akeneo, Salsify, or similar) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning, Validation).
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, structured data, and schema markup.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets and multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Experience handling vendors, PO creation, and coordinating with agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration between Category, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Experience with e-commerce CMS platforms (Magento, Shopify, Woo Commerce, etc.).
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of data integrity between ERP, PIM, and eCommerce systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting content sync and import/export issues.
  • Ability to identify and recommend process improvements for catalog and workflow efficiency.
