Application Laboratory Technician Consumer Products - Your future position? As an Application Laboratory Technician within the Technical Team, you will prepare Fragrance applications. You will support the Application team to prepare Fragrance applications in different bases meeting the needs of Creative and Development teams under the guidance and ensure the quality, precision, and accuracy thereof.

You will be based in our Dubai Media City office and will report into the Application Laboratory Manager. You will be working for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day.

In this exciting role, you will -

• Assist in applying fragrances to create fragrance application when assigned.
• Assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organisation.
• Perform candle making application with recommended dyes as per client request.

Utilise the very best of you:

• Ability to follow SOP’s and to prepare applications with quality, speed and accuracy.
• Demonstrate a basic ability in formulation development and preparation of Consumer Product samples with various dosages.

Drive efficiency and excellence:

• Ensure and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and lab equipment in accordance with EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• Administration of sample requests and ordering of fragrance oils.
• Record and communicate results accurately and promptly.
• Management of fragrance oils, customer base and internal base inventories.

Your professional profile includes:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years relevant experience in a laboratory environment.
• Demonstrate a strong affinity and interest in Fragrances.
• Proven experience in conducting stability tests.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in using common PC applications.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of lab documentation protocol and handling lab equipments and chemicals used to perform lab functions.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to give attention to details.
• A flexible team player with a sense of facilitation and strong organisational skills.
