What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for the day to day beverage operations of the restaurant to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience with a particular focus on wines.
  • Contribute to the creation of the exciting wine selection for the restaurant as well as maintaining the list and stock levels on a daily basis.
  • Assist with training and mentoring of the entire restaurant team with a focus on wines and beverages, ensuring their knowledge is second to none.
  • Bring Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity to each day.
  • Assist in revenue targets and cost control within pre-set budgets including beverage cost, payroll and other expenses.
  • Participate in daily team briefing pre-service, ensuring the team is well informed of daily changes in wine stocks and list.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure immaculate presentation of outlet and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ensure quality of beverage preparation, presentation and inventory control in collaboration with service team.
  • Complete other tasks as and when reasonably required.
  • Adjust hours of work to cover operation needs as occasion arises.
  • Operate in beach club environment involving heat, sun, pressure, standing and walking for long periods.

  • Relevant professional certification or hotel school diploma, and experience in luxury hotels and fine-dining restaurants in the Middle East.
  • Level 2 WSET certificate or higher.
