Role Overview

As a Marketplaces Operation Executive, you will have a pivotal role in contributing to the execution of the sales growth strategy with the sales manager to reach the sales target and offer the best possible customer experience across marketplaces by collaborating with marketplaces to ensure strong store wise operation to deliver the budget by store and ensure product listings, pricing promotions and marketing campaign are perfectly matching online and in physical retail.

You will collaborate with all departments of GMG team from Commercial, Operation, Finance, Supply, IT, BI Marketing and Digital Team to ensure a holistic approach focused on offering the best customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the sales budget by executing the sales/trade strategy, ensuring accurate catalog, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
  • Leverage sales and KPI performance analysis by store and marketplace to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with marketplaces and operations teams for timely product assortment updates and in-store implementation.
  • Regularly monitor store listings and positioning across all partner platforms to identify and fix content and listing gaps.
  • Identify and implement content improvement and SOPs, working internally and externally to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Execute the promotional calendar, share weekly promotional catalogs with partners, and optimize online assortments.
  • Conduct regular digital and physical store checks to cross-verify listings and identify gaps between online and physical promotions.
  • Liaise with internal IT teams to ensure smooth and regular stock/price transfers via SFTP and resolve data issues.
  • Create, automate, and analyze store operational efficiency KPIs (e.g., order acceptance, preparation, cancellation rates).
  • Work with the operations team to identify and implement corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for marketplace and internal pickers staff to ensure platform guideline adherence.
  • Participate in business reviews to communicate performance insights and growth opportunities to internal stakeholders (HO, stores) and marketplaces.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a related role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
  • Knowledge of Marketplace platforms and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding the principles and practices of Marketplace management.
  • Strong analytical skills to track sales performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI.
  • Expertise in managing online product listings and optimizing assortments.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
