Talent Acquisition Partner – Splash Fashions, UAE

Recruitment Specialist in Retail, E‑commerce & Fintech – Gold Medalist in Human Resources.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales and profitability for department/category.
  • Support high‑level financial planning: pre‑season financial plans, in‑season projections, open‑to‑buy management and new store budgets.
  • Maintain department/category merchandise MIS analytics based on actual sales, forecasts, inventory checks, events and replenishment needs.
  • Develop merchandise plans using analytics, customer preference, historical trends and future outlook discussed with buyers.
  • Decide and freeze department/category merchandise strategic plans—considering sales, stock, OTB, margins, forward cover, etc.
  • Communicate the merchandise strategic plan to the buying team for execution.
  • Ensure effective in‑season management across territories: stock balancing, markdown management, stock performance analysis.
  • Periodically review merchandise plans to keep profit at target levels.
  • Maintain uniformity of merchandise procedures and methodologies.
  • Maintain optimum category inventory levels across concepts/territories while respecting working‑capital constraints.
  • Avoid category stock‑outs and keep excess inventory from accumulating in warehouses or stores, adhering to ageing policy.
  • Provide input for category promotions: expected margins, price points and promotion effectiveness.
  • Analyze promotion performance relative to sales and margin targets.
  • Coordinate timely promotion roll‑outs with buying, marketing and VM teams to maintain inventory holding norms.
  • Monitor in‑season performance against the plan for each category/department with exception reporting.
  • Perform regular analysis and action planning across concept and territory based on inflows/OTB, stock analysis, stock balancing and margin analysis.
Qualifications
  • Mid‑Senior level experience in retail, apparel or related industry preferred.
  • Full‑time commitment.
  • Strong analytical, financial and inventory management skills.
  • Proficient in merchandise planning, assortment strategy and promotional management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
