Job Summary

The Supervisor contributes to store success by assisting the Brand Operations Manager with leading a team within an assigned store to achieve outstanding business results while creating and maintaining a unique shop experience for our customers and employees. The supervisor assists in providing dynamic and clear store leadership, optimising sales, products, staff, and operations to meet budgeted financial performance. Managers are responsible for organizing high standards of customer care, quality, and cost control.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set an example and encourage all employees to meet and exceed the company’s goals and objectives on a consistent basis.
  • Meet and exceed the company’s service standards and sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Acquire product knowledge information provided by the company to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
  • Spend time on the selling floor working with customers to assist them with their product selections by providing through product knowledge information.
  • Consistently follow and abide by the company’s established register and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Create additional sales opportunities by promoting and suggesting other appropriate items.
  • Support and participate with inventory management functions to include receiving procedures, transfers, pricing procedures, product counts, and physical inventories as required.
  • Actively participate and support the company’s safety and security standards at all times.
  • Assist in meeting the company’s brand image and housekeeping standards.
  • Attend and participate in store meetings and company training sessions as required, furthering the development of skills to meet the company’s objectives.
  • Work on department and store displays.
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
  • Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.
  • Monitor local competitors.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and health and safety measures.
  • Maintain discipline in the store by consistently guiding and coaching the staff.
  • Coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees.
  • Evaluate on-the-job performance.
  • Ensure staff productivity on their respective shifts.
  • Ensure every employee on the shift is impeccably groomed as per brand standards.
  • Be a part of the Daily Briefing Meetings of the store and ensure that the team is well‑in‑time for the same.
  • Develop the team members by providing consistent training with regard to the products and service guidelines.
Job Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a retail confectionery in the UAE & GCC.
  • Effective communication skills in English – essential.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Knowledgeable in retail operations.
  • Excellent physical fitness levels.
  • Flexible working hours (Day/Night).
  • Must maintain very high personal hygiene.
  • A team player with the ability to work under pressure in an extremely busy store.
