A Security Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes 5-Star hotel, maintains constant vigilance of activity on and around the hotel property and reports incidents, with appropriate documentation, with the intent of improving the safety and security of Guests, Team Members, and others.

As a Security Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you are responsible for the safety and security of all Guests, Team Members, contractors, and visitors while at the hotel. A Security Supervisor is also responsible for the safety and security of the hotel premises and the oversight of the Security Team. Specifically, the Security Supervisor will perform the following tasks at the highest level of service:

Supervise, lead, and train guards, overseeing daily operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests, visitors, and team members.

Assume responsibility for all initial emergency responses, as well as specific work, projects, administrative duties, tasks, investigations, inspections, etc.

Conduct foot patrols of the interior and perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions. Evaluate situations and make logical decisions on how to proceed and direct work.

Lead and direct investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities; document details and advise management.

Maintain order in the hotel, addressing guest welfare, assisting with problems, and coordinating a practical response to emergency situations in a hospitable manner.

Observe monitors for any unusual activities or suspicious behavior, take action, and report directly to management.

Perform administrative duties, including preparing schedules, incident reports, conducting audits, and completing patrolling reports.

A Security Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is always working on behalf of our Guests and in collaboration with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Previous security experience, preferably within an industry that manages large volumes of people movement.

Fluency in Arabic language skills.

Experience in planning, organizing, and enforcing security systems.

Current and working knowledge (proof of valid qualifications required) of fire, safety, and first aid.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent personal presentation.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Previous training experience with relevant qualifications.

Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel in the UAE.
