Security Supervisor – Six Senses The Palm, Dubai

IHG Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Security Supervisor for our Six Senses The Palm resort.

• Assist in controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all resort properties, guests and hosts and follow the instructions of the Safety/Security Manager.
• Conduct security patrol within and around the resort.
• Coordinate activities of all uniformed outsourced guards engaged in the implementation of management, safety and security procedures of the resort and check and ensure performance of uniformed outsourced security guards.
• Represent Safety/Security Manager while on shift in handling emergency cases at the resort in accordance with resort policy.
• Coordinate closely with other hotel departments to ensure guest safety and security.
• Recommend to Safety/Security Manager areas of improvements in safety and security activities.
• Review all security reports submitted at the end of shift to see if they are accurate and complete.
• Inform the Safety/Security Manager of any incidents that have occurred in the resort.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. Maintain performance benchmarks and exceed them.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

• Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with various security systems.
• Up-to-date certifications on First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
