Senior React Native Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior React Native engineer (7+ years) who’s solved real mobile platform challenges in production.

At Washmen, our customer app isn’t just another e-commerce interface—it’s a high-volume, multi-service platform processing thousands of daily orders with complex orchestration requirements. We need someone who’s already debugged production memory issues with native profilers, built custom bridges when off-the-shelf solutions failed, and made architectural decisions that scaled.

What we’re NOT looking for: Junior developers eager to learn React Native, or web developers transitioning to mobile.

What we ARE looking for: Engineers who’ve shipped apps with published App Store/Play Store experience, can immediately contribute to discussions around performance optimization, native module development, and mobile-specific constraints.

Design and build high-performance mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.

Build and maintain custom native modules in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android) when JavaScript isn’t enough.

Debug and optimize native-level performance issues using Xcode Instruments and Android Studio Profiler. Handle crashes, memory leaks, and platform-specific problems.

Integrate third-party native SDKs and handle OS updates across both platforms.

Manage API integration (REST/Graph

QL) and state management using React Query, with focus on caching and error handling.

Translate designs into pixel-perfect UIs that work seamlessly on both platforms.

Write testable code with unit, integration, and E2E tests (Jest, Appium). Mentor teammates through code reviews and pair programming.

• Solid iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) fundamentals
• 7+ Experience building custom native modules and React Native bridges
• Deep understanding of React Native architecture (New Architecture, JSI, Turbo Modules)
• Strong debugging skills with native profilers and crash analysis tools

• Expert-level React Native development
• Type Script, React Query, and modern state management
• Performance optimization and memory management
• Mobile-specific constraints (battery, network, memory)
