We’re partnering with a well-funded fintech startup in Dubai that’s building a modern, cloud-native financial platform from the ground up.
This is a core engineering hire - not maintenance, not legacy clean-up. You’ll be working on systems that handle real money, real scale, and real complexity.
What you’ll be working on- Designing and building high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Developing APIs and services used across payments, lending, or digital banking workflows
- Writing clean, testable, production-ready code in a microservices environment
- Collaborating closely with product, frontend, and platform teams
- Contributing to architectural decisions as the platform scales
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience building distributed backend systems (microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures)
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL required; No
SQL a plus) - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or high-availability systems is highly desirable
- Engineers who care about code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability
