Responsibilities
  • Support company’s philosophy and culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences and Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences to ensure Guest Satisfaction and achieve our Mission Statement.
  • Keep work areas clean and neat at all times.
  • Follow all Standards and Procedures as taught by trainers.
  • Conduct Fitness Assessments, Classes and Personal Training.
  • Supervise and instruct the safe use of the equipment in the Fitness area.
  • Ensure high standard of service in the Fitness Centre.
  • Assist in operations of all Fitness Centre areas:
    Reception, main gym, movement studio, personal training sessions, MO in‑house class delivery, unique events, and hotel marketing initiatives.
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance and Health & Safety reporting, report dysfunctional equipment to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies for the Fitness Centre.
  • Attend daily line‑ups, weekly and monthly departmental meetings.
  • Maintain high standard of appearance and personal hygiene per the MODUB Grooming Guidelines.
  • Attend all training courses as required.
  • Interact courteously with guests, answering Spa, Wellness and Hotel related questions.
  • Assist in all departments as necessary.
  • Be adaptable, accountable and professional, conducting all duties with a friendly work ethic.
  • Assist smooth flow of the guest’s journey throughout the day.
  • Receive training to implement Health and Hygiene standards.
  • Attend to guests in both waiting areas and Fitness Centre, providing refreshments.
  • Greet each guest with a smile and acknowledge them.
  • Conduct Personal Training sessions based on systematic, scientific counselling and conditioning principles.
  • Ensure training goals are realistic and attainable.
  • Be fully aware of any contraindications before exercise programs.
  • Maintain Category ‘A’ REPs UAE fitness registration, and attain at least 10 CPD points annually.
  • Produce monthly attendance reports for complimentary and private programs.
  • Ensure guests sign participation waivers before programs.
  • Conduct in‑villa/private wellness programmes following guidelines.
  • Conduct children’s physical activities as necessary.
  • Follow SOPs for fitness centre opening/closing and etiquette.
  • Provide correct exercise feedback to guests.
  • Liaise with health and fitness instructors to produce, prepare and execute wellness programmes.
  • Start and finish all appointments on time.
  • Follow administration SOPs for bookings.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct on the floor.
  • Provide professional advice, assistance and education to guests.
  • Follow SOPs for welcoming guests.
  • Empty bins and pick up rubbish as needed.
  • Promote Fitness & Wellness activities and programmes to guests.
  • Offer positive encouragement to guests during workouts.
  • Conduct Fitness evaluations per guidelines.
  • Ensure guests complete evaluation waiver.
  • Offer professional advice within knowledge scope.
  • Adhere to evaluation protocols and exercise professional judgment.
  • Prevent high‑risk members from evaluating without medical clearance.
