Fitness Coach

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To lead, motivate, and support individuals in a group setting to achieve their health and fitness goals through structured, safe, and engaging workouts.

• Deliver group classes, fitness assessments, and personal training sessions
• Uphold studio standards and professionalism during and outside sessions
• Attend monthly coach workshops and team meetings
• Conduct monthly self-assessments using provided session templates
• Participate in studio activations, events, and initiatives
• Ensure studio equipment is set up correctly and safely before sessions
• Maintain and update client profiles and session notes in the CRM system

• Welcome members and guests into the facility
• Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and social media enquiries
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions regarding classes, memberships, and facilities
• Support new client sign-ups, waivers, and orientation processes
• Assist with membership enquiries, including policies, terms & conditions, cancellations, and suspensions
• Check in clients for classes, personal training, or appointments
• Inform members and guests about promotions, events, and services
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, payments, and client information

• Actively support social media campaigns and content creation
• Collaborate with senior coaches on sales campaigns and studio activations
• Promote ongoing offers, events, and services
• Follow up with near-expiry or recently expired personal training clients
• Support membership sales efforts by nurturing new leads
• Contribute to member retention through regular engagement
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities inside and outside the studio

• Conduct fitness assessments, including appointment scheduling and reminders
• Set realistic and achievable goals for assessed clients
• Record assessment outcomes and targets in the CRM system

• Deliver personal training and semi-private group sessions
• Manage session bookings and client reminders
• Set, track, and review realistic fitness goals for all personal training clients
• Identify and develop relationships with members suitable for personal training
• Promote and upsell personal training services where appropriate
• Design, implement, and promote training programs targeting multiple health and fitness goals

• Valid Level 3 Fitness Certification (or equivalent)
• Up-to-date Basic First Aid Certification
